Andy Xianyi Zhang is a London-based filmmaker and moving image artist, and a recipient of The FLAMIN Fellowship (2024–2025). Originally from Shanghai, she works at the intersection of experimental film and artist moving image, exploring themes of urbanization, alienation, and self-discovery. Her practice employs a restrained yet defiant visual language, examining the relationship between human presence and space through slow cinema aesthetics and non-linear narratives.

She holds an MA in Film from the University of the Arts London. Andy's work has been screened internationally, including at the Slow Film Festival, the Beijing International Short Film Festival, and NOWNESS ASIA.
